The Mirenique header supports up to three levels of nested navigation, configurable mega menus with editorial imagery, the native Shopify customer account component, predictive search, and localization selectors.
1. Connect your main menu
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Navigation and create or edit your primary menu (up to 3 levels deep).
- In the Theme Editor, select the Header section.
- Under Main menu, pick your menu. Top-level links with child items automatically render accessible dropdowns or mega menus.
2. Add a mega menu with editorial promo card
- Inside the Header section in the Theme Editor, click Add block → Mega menu.
- In Menu item title, enter the exact name of the top-level link you want to expand into a mega menu (for example,
Shop). - Optionally add a promo image, heading, subheading, and link to showcase a featured collection or seasonal launch inside the panel.
3. Customer account component (<shopify-account>)
When customer accounts are enabled in Settings → Customer accounts, Mirenique renders Shopify's native <shopify-account> component in both the desktop header and mobile navigation drawer. You can optionally assign a Customer account menu in the Header section settings to display custom links inside the signed-in account popover.
4. Country, currency, and language selectors
When your store has multiple active markets/countries or published languages in Settings → Markets and Settings → Languages, you can toggle the country/currency and language selectors in both the Announcement bar and the Footer.
